Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. $1,000 Barber Supply Gift Card Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00 a.m., Eastern Time (“ET”) November 30, 2022, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2022, ("Sweepstakes Period"). Sweepstakes is sponsored by BarberItems.com.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who have attained the age of 18 as of the Sweepstakes start date. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, or Barber Items (the “Administrator”), or their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, distributors, agents, sales representatives, advertising, and promotional agencies (all of the above collectively, the “Released Parties”) and members of the immediate family (mother, father, sons, daughters and spouse, regardless of where they reside) and household members of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants are invited to enter the Sweepstakes by visiting the Sponsor’s promotional website located at https://www.barberitems.com (the “Website”) and completing all the required fields on the Sweepstakes entry form. By successfully completing and submitting the entry form, each entrant agrees to receive future news, promotions, and information from the Sponsor and the Prize Provider and will receive one (1) entry (“Entry”) into the Sweepstakes.
LIMIT one (1) per person per email address. Once posted, an Entry cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified. All Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Neither the Sponsor, the Administrator, nor the Prize Provider is responsible for late, incomplete, misdirected, or delayed entries. By participating, each Entrant consents to the Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of their personal information for the administration of this Sweepstakes. All Entry information and materials become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) random drawing will take place from all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about January 3, 2023, by the Administrator to determine one (1) Grand Prize Winner. The odds of winning the prize depends on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The potential Winner will be contacted by the Sponsor and/or Administrator by the email address provided on the Entry form. All results are final and binding, subject to these Official Rules. In the event a winning Entry is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever or the person who submitted the winning Entry fails to comply with these Official Rules prior to delivery of the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If by reason of a printing, computer or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a computerized random selection to award the advertised number of prizes available. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive one (1) $1,000 Barber Items gift card. Gift cards subject to standard gift card terms and conditions; see gift cards for details. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash and may not be substituted or transferred by the winner. WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPORTING AND PAYING ANY AND ALL INCOME, SALES OR EXCISE TAXES THAT MAY APPLY TO ACCEPTING THE PRIZE; SPONSOR AND PRIZE PROVIDER ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AND WILL NOT PAY ANY SUCH TAXES.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, each participant warrants that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and that he or she is not prohibited from participating in the Sweepstakes. By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the Prize. The potential Grand Winner must sign and return to the Administrator, within seven (7) days of the date of notice or attempted notice is sent, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release to claim the Prize. Note: The Affidavit sent will require that the Winner provide his or her Social Security Number to the Administrator, which will be used solely for tax reporting purposes. The Grand Prize winner will be responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes associated with the receipt of the Prize. The Grand Prize Winner must note that the value of their accepted Prize is taxable as income and an IRS Form 1099 will be filed in the name of the Winner for the value of the Prize and the Winner is solely responsible for all matters relating to the Prize after it is awarded. If a Prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to a potential Winner, if a potential Winner cannot be reached within three (3) business days from the first notification attempt, if a potential Winner fails to return requisite document(s) within the specified time period, or if a potential Winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, then such person shall be disqualified and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate Winner may be selected.
